Gas Fireplace Logs: How to Pick the Perfect View Type

Different views are also available for fireplace logs. However, this is a much simpler decision than the other steps in choosing the correct gas log set. There are only two primary fireplace log view types to choose between. Let's discuss them now!

Standard – When it comes to fireplaces, "standard" refers to the typical presentation you think of when you first think of fireplaces. So, what does that mean for a set of fireplace logs? Well, it simply means that the log set is one-sided and designed only to be seen from a specific angle – straight on. Standard view fireplace logs are the most common view type.

See-Thru/Peninsula – As you might assume from the name, fireplace log sets for see-through or peninsula fireplaces are designed to be viewed from multiple sides. This view style can result in more strict placement of the logs to keep the appearance clean and visually appealing.

Now that view is covered, let's move on to our next section – Choosing the right fuel type
