This chimney damper is designed to save energy. It is a lock top damper that measures 8 inch by 8 inch. It features a stainless steel lid that is fastened to a aluminum cast frame with an array of spring wires made out of stainless steel. Silicone rubber locks in heat and energy. A drop cable, 30 foot, is included. The cable is operated with firebox handle. There is a manufactures' lifetime warranty on all types of fuel.
