Removing the damper from the top of your flue can be difficult, but it is necessary when cleaning or making improvements to your chimney or chimney liner. With this sweep ring, you can easily remove the damper by sealing this ring to the flue and screwing the base to the ring. Once you do this, you can simply remove the damper without any problems, and you can continue your home improvement project. This ring is offered in a 8 by 17 size to remove like sized dampers.
