Billy H. from upstate New York asked:
Can this be used with a 7-inch vent?
Can this be used with a 7-inch vent?
Normally, you would want to match the diameter of the flue collar on the appliance. If you have to go with an oval liner, it is important to make sure that you can pull the same volume of emissions that your 7" pipe normally would. The only exception to this would be if the manufacturer of the appliance covers reducing the diameter of the vent in their manual, or via their technical specs.

The top plate in this kit measures 16 x 16. If the outside dimension of your flue tile is 11 x 16, this should work for you.

Great service, Great product

I received this product the very next day that I ordered this. It was easy to wrap the insulation blanket around the piping, and installing it was a breeze. I'm very happy with this product, and the tech was very helpful.

Must Have

Read a lot of information on all sort of sites. Having the liner is a must if you want your system to work right and be safe. Surprisingly easy to install. Make sure you clean out existing chimney first. I had an 8" chimney and for like 20 dollars I purchased a brush in the shape of ball at the local hardware store. Tied a piece of rope I had laying around in the middle and with a guy down below just ran it back in forth for 20min or so..cleaned it right out. warning very messy.

Pros

A Must have for a good seal for proper draft.

Cons

None...you really should have it. if you want your investment to work right.
