How long is this portion of this double wall pipe that goes through the wall to chimney? Is this wall unit telescopic?

The thimble is able to extend piping through 7 inches of wall thickness. While it is not telescoping, it is possible to use a pair of thimbles to extend the length. The thimble joints would need to be bonded together with furnace cement.

Is this item everything needed to make the connection from the stove pipe into the chimney?

This wall unit is indeed the combination of the thimble and the metal thimble cover and finishing plate. It will contain all necessary parts to pass into the chimney.
