A chimney cap protects the chimney from weather damage as well as from animals that may want to get in to your house through the flue. This cap is made of 316-alloy stainless steel with 3/4" steel mesh. It comes already assembled and has a 4-5/8" high base. This cap mounts onto both chimney liners and solid-pack factory-built chimneys by sliding inside the terminal piece and is held in place by friction. It can be used as a replacement cap for solid-pack factory-built chimneys. This part is UL listed for use with HomeSaver Flex relining pipe systems. It has a manufacturer's lifetime warranty for all fuels. The cap has a 6" diameter with a 13" diameter lid and is 5" high.
