- Arrives pre-assembled with a 4-5/8" high base
- Attaches to both chimney liners and solid-pack factory-built chimneys by sliding inside with a tight friction fit
- Replacement cap for solid-pack factory-built chimneys
- UL Listed for use with all HomeSaver Flex relining pipe
- Manufacturers lifetime warranty for all fuels
- Size: 6" Dia.
- Screen: 5" H
- Lid: 13" Dia.
This chimney cap slides into both to chimney liners and to solid-pack factory-built chimneys with an inside mount that is held tightly in place by friction. It is made of 304-alloy stainless steel with a 5/8" mesh that will keep birds and animals out of your vent. The part is pre-assembled with a base that is 4-5/8" high. A UL listing permits use of this cap with all HomeSaver Flex relining pipe systems and it carries a manufacturer's lifetime warranty for all fuels. The screen is 5" high and the lid is 13" in diameter.
Please Note: HomeSaver can only be sold and shipped to general contractors or licensed chimney sweeps. Orders to the general public cannot be fulfilled. If you have a contractor please provide his name and address. This will need to be shipped directly to the contractor. The manufacturer will not make exceptions.

Which one is best for the draw?
The draw of your fireplace will mostly be determined by the vent configuration and fireplace location. This cap will work great if the system is configured correctly.

No, it will not. Excessive smoke can be caused by many things. The cap protects the open chimney from weather like rain and snow.
