The HomeSaver Pro 13 in. x 13 in. Base Single-Flue Stainless Steel Chimney Cap is made of 100% 304 stainless steel, right down to its pointed, slotted, hex-head set screws. The one piece, 8 in. high screen is heavy, 18 ga., 3/4 in. mesh, and the top is hand-finished with a rolled edge. The sturdy base also features a one-piece design and includes weld nut technology to prevent stripped threads.
The stainless HomeSaver Pro is available in seven flue tile sizes and has a clean, stylish design that shouts 'Pro' from top to bottom.

How does the 13 x 13 mount to a 12 x12 area?
The Homesaver Pro 13"x13" chimney cap will fit an outside tile dimension between 11 1/2" up to 13 3/4", while the Homesaver Pro 12"x12" chimney cap will fit an outside tile dimension between 10 1/2" to 12 3/4". This allows for fitment onto clay flue tiles that may be an odd size from the manufacturer. The screws are tapered to a point on the end that will make a small indentation into the flue tile to secure the cap to the tile. No pilot drilling is needed. Overtightening of the tension screws will result in damaging/cracking the flue tile.

Looks Like It Will Last a Long Time
I was disappointed when my previous chimney cap got rusty, fell apart, and blew away, but I’d had it for a long time. I’ve replaced it with this model. It’s the right size and is durable. It’s stainless steel, too, so rusting shouldn’t be a problem now.

Good Price, Great Chimney Cap
This chimney cap is really well constructed, and you’ll be really pleased with how sturdy it is when you consider how little it costs. I did have to make some adjustments to the way the company recommends it be installed because of some of my chimney’s quirks. But the end of the story is that no rain leaks in any more.
