The HomeSaver Pro 13 in. x 13 in. Base Single-Flue Stainless Steel Chimney Cap is made of 100% 304 stainless steel, right down to its pointed, slotted, hex-head set screws. The one piece, 8 in. high screen is heavy, 18 ga., 3/4 in. mesh, and the top is hand-finished with a rolled edge. The sturdy base also features a one-piece design and includes weld nut technology to prevent stripped threads.

How does the 13 x 13 mount to a 12 x12 area?
The Homesaver Pro 13"x13" chimney cap will fit an outside tile dimension between 11 1/2" up to 13 3/4", while the Homesaver Pro 12"x12" chimney cap will fit an outside tile dimension between 10 1/2" to 12 3/4". This allows for fitment onto clay flue tiles that may be an odd size from the manufacturer. The screws are tapered to a point on the end that will make a small indentation into the flue tile to secure the cap to the tile. No pilot drilling is needed. Overtightening of the tension screws will result in damaging/cracking the flue tile.
