- Fits Outside Tile Dimensions: 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" to 13-1/2" x 13-1/2"
A chimney cap protects your flue and your home from entrance of water and this model also has a screen to exclude animals that might want to enter the flue for shelter. The unit is made of black galvanized steel and features 18-gauge steel mesh and base with a 24-gauge steel lid that is hand finished with a rolled edge. The modified base is designed to fit square, round, rectangular, or oval flue tiles. Weld nut technology helps to avoid stripped threads during installation. There is a manufacturer's lifetime warranty against workmanship and materials and a 3-yeaer warranty on rust-through. The base size is 13" x 13" and the 5/8" mesh is 8" high. The cap will fit outside tile dimensions of 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" to 13-1/2" x 13-1/2".

Great Product including Optional Legs
This cap is of very high quality compared to those readily available locally. As an engineer, I was especially impressed the optional legs came with the hardware to easily be attached ti the cap's mounting bolts.
