Can this be used in the firebox of my Lennox gas fireplace?
    1 Answer
It can indeed. This high temperature paint is ideal for coating metal fireboxes, door frames, surrounds, and louvers. I recommend using a putty knife to scrape away as much of the flaking paint as possible, as it is liable to continue separating beneath the new coating.

How many cans of copper field surf sand fireplace paint are needed for a metal firebox interior?
    1 Answer
For a small firebox, one 12 ounce can should offer enough coverage for most needs. Only if the fireplace is taken down to bare metal may another can be needed to achieve uniform coverage and avoid light areas.
