You can clean flues that vent coal, gas or oil appliances with this plastic chimney cleaning brush by Viper that is used in the Viper chimney cleaning system. Its sturdy polypropylene bristles are impervious to the acids that are sometimes present in these types of flues. These brushes and the entire cleaning system are especially appropriate for use on prefab chimneys. Note that for best results the brush should 2" larger than the flue that is to be cleaned.
I have 2 insulated metal chimneys. They are 7" and 8" - and a length of 6" single wall connected to the 7". Please advise on the number and size of the brushes needed.

You will need brushes for each size - 8", 7" and 6" inside diameters - so that each section can be properly brushed.

I would like to connect a viper brush to a chimney cleaning rod, what is the size of the connection?
1 Answer
All of the Viper products come standard with a M10 size connection. This is true also for the brushes. If your current rods have this type of connection, then this brush will work for you.
