Does this cap twist onto the pipe?

This cap does indeed have hems that correspond to the raised lances on the end of each pipe section. The cap will twist and firmly lock into position. Please keep in mind that only Duratech piping is designed to work with this cap.

DuraTech S.S. Chimney Cap 9489
An excellent product that I've used now for three heating seasons in Central Va. and without any issues.
ProsBeing constructed of stainless steel the finish holds up, NO Rust as would eventually be the case with galvanized components.
ConsCould use slightly larger diameter and height to offer more room for the spark arrestor screen that must be cleaned about twice a heating season, this using even the best of dried wood.
