Excellent Chimney
I prefer this to any other prefabricated chimney I've installed and even to masonry. It's easy to use during either new construction or retrofit. I've had a 15' plus (interior) installation in my own home for about 30 years. We burn all winter long, mostly oak and cherry with about 10% to 20% poplar and maple thrown in. Most of our wood is cut, stacked and dried for over a year but it hasn't always been. I don't think I've ever gotten more than about two cups of creosote out of that long chimney at fall cleanout. Interior and exterior portions look as good to me as when new.
My experience shows this to be a safe and effective chimney.
