Do the support brackets attach inside on the ceiling or outside on the roof?

The swiveling support wings are designed to be attached to the roof decking, on the exterior. The wings will then be covered by the flashing.

Strong and Sturdy
I installed this product in an eight pitch metal roof. It is very strong and solid, and much stronger than I had at first expected it to be. I?m pleased with my purchase.
