Does the MetalBest Ultra-Temp 6 inch Chimney Pipe Support Box need trim when placed up against a sheetrock ceiling? Is this product permissible for low pitch cathedral ceiling wood frame construction?
This product may have sheetrock installed right up against it. The support boxes construction provides the requisite clearances to combustibles. This box would work just fine in your application.
