- Designed for use with 6-inch inner diameter chimney pipe
- Flat ceiling support kit includes: round top, attic insulation shield, storm collar, finish support package, adjustable flashing, and stove pipe adaptor
- Kit provides the support package and termination parts for a chimney that is supported by a flat ceiling, passes through an attic, and subsequently penetrates the roof
- Pipe lengths (not included) are all that are required to complete installation
- Attic insulation shield (included) is required even if there is no attic insulation except in the case of a full enclosure with 2-inch clearance to combustibles being installed around the chimney
- Depending on roof design and orientation a roof brace kit may be required to support the chimney above the roof

Does this MetalBest Ultra-Tempt 6 inch diameter chimney pipe flat ceiling support kit work with a 6/12 pitch roof?

The flashing in this kit can indeed be adjusted from a 0/12 to a 6/12 pitch.

Will the stove pipe adapter furnished with the kit work with the 6" double wall Dura Vent (DVL) stove pipe?
What length extension is provided with the stove pipe adapter?

Although they are different brands, the adapter will fit the DVL in this case. The inner diameter is standardized at 6 inches on the DVL series, so the adapter will push into place via a tight friction fit. However, you may have to crimp the end of the adapter slightly to initiate the connection. The adapter is 15 3/4 inches in height.

No Need for Name Brand
I purchased this product because I couldn?t justify spending more just to get the name brand, which happened to be a lot more expensive. This product works well, just as I expected that it would. I?m very pleased with my purchase.
