*Venting Requirements: This unit requires venting pipe with an inner diameter of 6 Inches. Please see the Venting Components section on this page if available for venting pipe that must be used with this unit. This roof flashing by MetalBest will work effectively to protect your vent and home from the entrance of moisture around the chimney vent hole. It is designed for use with 6" inner diameter chimney pipe. The flashing is adjustable and can be used on roof that have pitches between 6/12 and 12/12. In order to adequate protect against leaks, the installation of the flashing must be accompanied by a storm collar that is purchased separately. Will this fit a chimney pipe with 8 inch outside diameter? What are the dimensions of the base plate?

Yes, this flashing is made for the MetalBest class A chimney pipe that has a 6" inside diameter and an 8" outside diameter. The base of this flashing measures 28 1/2" x 24".

Great Quality
The thing that I most like about this item is that it is constructed from stainless steel and not from aluminum (which was the material used for the last item that I installed in my home).
