Thank you for asking me to respond. I never received a response from the company, so I decided to do the job myself. I cut the diameter of the chimney support band down into two pieces. I ended up splicing them together to create a band that was 8 inches total. Using the 10 inch band was just not an option for me. I wish I would have received a response from the company though.
