- Designed for use in conjunction with 8-inch inner diameter (10-inch outer diameter) chimney pipe
- Type HT all-fuel chimney listed to UL103HT safety standards
- Fits around the round chimney pipe just above the roof flashing (sold separately)
- Helps prevent water leakage that can occur when using roof flashing without a storm collar, especially in rainy situations
- Upper edge of storm collar should be waterproofed with silicone sealer to prevent water leakage between storm collar and chimney pipe

*Venting Requirements: This unit requires venting pipe with an inner diameter of 8 Inches. Please see the Venting Components section on this page if available for venting pipe that must be used with this unit. To help prevent water leakage you should use a storm collar along with the roof flashing in the top termination of a chimney vent system. This model is designed for use with 8" inch inner diameter chimney pipe by MetalBest and is a Type HT all-fuel chimney that is listed for UL 103HT safety standards. After fitting the storm collar around the pipe, the upper edge should be waterproofed with silicone sealer to prevent water leakage.
