Product Details
To help prevent water leakage you should use a storm collar along with the roof flashing in the top termination of a chimney vent system. This model is designed for use with 8" inch inner diameter chimney pipe by MetalBest and is a Type HT all-fuel chimney that is listed for UL 103HT safety standards. After fitting the storm collar around the pipe, the upper edge should be waterproofed with silicone sealer to prevent water leakage.
