*Venting Requirements: This unit requires venting pipe with an inner diameter of 8 Inches. Please see the Venting Components section on this page if available for venting pipe that must be used with this unit. The DuraPlus system has a triple-wall design that has insulating layers of air and ceramic refractory blanket. This configuration permits a 2" clearance to combustibles. The outer wall is 0.018" galvanized steel, the middle wall is 0.018" aluminized steel, and the inner wall is 0.016" stainless steel. The pipe section has an 8" inner diameter and a 12" outer diameter. The part is UL listed and carries a limited lifetime warranty. The DuraVent Duraplus is a good triple wall system, and we feel safer with it.
the shipping boxes / packing for this product is terrible, good luck on getting it right the first time.
