If you have gas, wood pellet, oil, or wood burning appliances, including: fireplace inserts, furnaces, boilers, and water heaters then the DuraFlex SW is the product you want to use. It ensures safe and efficient venting of heating appliances while protecting the masonry chimney from the damaging effects of flue product condensation. The 6DFSW100 is designed for use with wood-burning, wood pellet, and non-condensing gas, coal, and oil appliances. Titanium is designed for harsher conditions, for more resistance to corrosion, such as coal. DuraFlex Stainless Steel has a 0" clearance to masonry for gas and 1" clearance to masonry for pellet and oil applications. Insulation is required for 0" clearance to masonry.
