This zero-clearance fireplace features a vast window for a nearly uninterrupted view of the beautifully hand-painted gas log set. Empire's Tahoe Deluxe boasts an 83% efficiency rating and is appropriately rated for installation in bedrooms and even manufactured homes. This standing pilot model requires no electrical power, so it's a great choice if you're concerned about power outages in your area.
Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 4" inner diameter.

Please Note: Fireplace is pictured with optional aged brick ceramic fiber liner. This liner is available for purchase through configurations or separately, but the base fireplace unit does not include a fireplace liner.
Also Note: This item must be installed by a licensed professional in order for the manufacturer's warranty to be valid.

The fireplace liners are optional and completely decorative, so they are not required to operate safely.

How do I restart the pilot light?
Millivolt units such as this will have a knob behind the bottom louver that you will need to turn to the "Pilot" position. Then depress the knob and press the striker to ignite the pilot. Keep the knob depressed for 15 to 30 seconds, and the pilot should remain lit. Then turn the knob into the "On" position.

Possibly. Please reference the mantle clearances listed on page 10 of this installation manual to see if your mantle would meet the required clearances.

Yes, the fireplace will still turn on/off. However, additional items such as a blower will not operate without 110v power.

Was an easy instillation with minimal issues. and the instructions were clear. Within 5 hours of when I began,I had it up and running. Now all I have to do is sheet rock and finish around the fireplace. I found the flexible vent easy to install, and the outside trim kit for the vinyl siding made it all a breeze. With the log set and the embers, it looks very real and easily heats my family room.
