You should replace the venting with the unit. It is recommended.

Your thermocouple is likely not recognizing the pilot flame which is causing it to go out. You will want to clean the thermocouple with a piece of emery cloth or high grit (1000) sandpaper. This may resolve the issue. Another issue that could be causing this is the connection point between the thermocouple lead and the gas valve. Depending on your fireplace, there may be either a pair of lead wires or a solid copper lead that is held in place by a nut. Either way, loosening and cleaning the connection point at the gas valve will often make a difference, as excessive voltage drop can occur at this location and cause the pilot to drop out.

I am looking for the ceramic radiant panels for the Empire Corcho wall-mounted propane heater, specifically for models SR30 or SR30T, as I'm unsure of the exact difference between them. Do you carry these parts?
We reviewed the photos of your wall heater. The ceramic radiant panels are referred to as the 'Reflector Assembly' in Empire's parts documentation. For both the SR-30W (manual heat control) and SR-30TW (hydraulic thermostat control) models, the parts diagram lists part number 35955 as the Reflector Assembly, indicating this is the correct panel for either version. This part is not currently stocked in our online catalog but can be special ordered directly from Empire.
