Do I need an additional piece for installation on vinyl siding as the fireplace instructions state or can I just cut away siding and trim up to termination cap and install deflector shield?
    1 Answer
Per the manufacturer, no additional vinyl siding shield is necessary. Indeed, the deflector on top of the cap will suffice to protect the surrounding siding.

    from Chesterton, IN asked:
    March 14, 2019
Do you sell just the flexible piping separately from the kit? Or do I have to buy the whole kit? I purchased a kit with rigid piping so I have the other pieces. I just need the flexible piece. Also, this says it is 4 feet long, but I only need about half that length. Do you have a shorter piece available for purchase? Or because of its flexible nature, can it be shortened?
    1 Answer
Unfortunately, we only sell this as a full kit, and only offer the 4' length.

Tech Support recommended to stretch the 4 inch and 7 inch flex pipe out to about 4 feet before cutting to final size. This went well.

    Relatively easy to install.
As the "headline" stated this items was relatively easy to install. The inside ducting was a bit tight for the outside "wall cap" connection. Make sure to "dry fit" all the items before assembly, and make the necessary adjustments.
