The flexible vent kit can be cut to length and includes 4' of 4x7 flex. Per the manufacturer, no additional vinyl siding shield is necessary, so you shouldn't need anything else.

Per the manufacturer, no additional vinyl siding shield is necessary. Indeed, the deflector on top of the cap will suffice to protect the surrounding siding.

The horizontal cap included in this kit can handle most windy conditions, though if you have particularly strong winds often, we would recommend a rigid pipe system and a specialized high-wind cap.

Do you sell just the flexible piping separately from the kit? Or do I have to buy the whole kit? I purchased a kit with rigid piping so I have the other pieces. I just need the flexible piece.
Also, this says it is 4 feet long, but I only need about half that length. Do you have a shorter piece available for purchase? Or because of its flexible nature, can it be shortened?
1 Answer
Unfortunately, we only sell this as a full kit, and only offer the 4' length.
