Will this work with the RH-50-5/ RH-65-5?
The RH50 and RH65 have hydraulic thermostats that are controlled by a numbered dial attached to the gas valve. They cannot be attached to an external thermostat.

Wireless Thermostat
Wireless thermostat works great. Purchased with the Empire VFP30CA30 Heritage Vent-Free Cast Iron Gas Stove. Comes with receiver to connect to heater to activate gas valve. Being wireless, I can place the thermostat anywhere in the room. Be sure to follow the instructions which tell how to set up receiver to communicate with the thermostat. These instructions are in the troubleshooting section of the owners manual.

Can use the thermostat as either wall-mounted or as a remote. Wireless.
Cons
Wiring instructions are a little complicated because the unit can be used on various types of heaters. The instructions for setting up the thermostat and the receiver to communicate with each other are contained in the troubleshooting section of the manu
