When you want to enjoy a fire in your hearth without the hassle of chopping wood, the Tahoe Premium direct vent gas fireplace is the ideal choice. This gas fireplace offers flexibility in design by accepting horizontal and vertical venting, and it's even rated safe for bedrooms and manufactured homes. Empire's unique Slope Glaze burner is specially designed to evenly and efficiently disperse natural gas or propane, creating a robust flame pattern that flickers throughout the hand-painted log set. The large heat-resistant tempered glass window allows a nearly uninterrupted view of the fire, and the black slat louvers add a classic touch to the Tahoe Premium's design. The possibilities are endless with Empire.

Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 5" inner diameter.

WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

Also Note: Fireplace is pictured with optional aged brick ceramic fiber liner. This liner is available for purchase through configurations or separately, but the base fireplace unit does not include a fireplace liner.

Richard M. from rjmysliwiec@msn.com asked:
It appears that the unit can be placed in an alcove in a living room with a wood floor or carpeted floor without the requirement for a marble or other noncombustable hearth. Yes?

This can be installed directly on a wood floor. If installed on carpeting however, it should be installed on a metal or wood panel extending the full width and depth of the appliance.
