Can you add a thermostat to the Empire RH65B Visual Flame Gas Room Heater. Also , to make it turn off at a certain temperature?
This unit utilizes a built-in hydraulic thermostat that will control the heat settings. An external thermostat is not available to control the unit.

Can this unit vent outside the house?
This unit is B-vent, a natural draft, much like a wood stove. If you vent through the wall, you must run the pipe vertically past the roof line.
