What is the lowest temperature setting on this heaters thermostat?
    1 Answer
This heater operates on a hydraulic thermostat knob on the unit itself. The LO and HI settings represent a temperature range of approximately 55F to 90F, respectively. This is the temperature at the hydraulic thermostat bulb (which is located on the back casing, adjacent to the casing bottom).

Will this work at 7600 feet elevation?
    1 Answer
We do not recommend using a vent-free gas heater in elevations above 4500 feet due to increasing pilot outages due to the decrease in oxygen.

So in order to function, this unit would have to have a propane tank?
    1 Answer
It would indeed. An external propane cylinder would need to supply fuel to this heater. A minimum of a 20 pound cylinder must be used, although 40 pounds is more ideal and will allow for longer burn times.

Can a 20 pound propane bottle be connected to this model?
    1 Answer
This unit can be operated from a 20 lb propane tank as long as a regulator is installed to ensure gas pressure is kept below 14" w.c. Please note that as the fuel supply in the tank diminishes, heater performance will also decrease.

    Excellent camp heater
We installed this unit in our basement at a year-round camp / log cabin. On the low setting, the basement stayed at 50 while the main floor stayed at 45, while outside was -20 with 15-20 mph winds. Easy to install (by LP service tech), easy to run. basement was up to 68 in short time going only to medium heat.
    We highly recommend this heater!
ProsHeats as advertised, easy to use.

This is an awesome heater. It heated my house fast and kept it warm. Everything about running this unit was easy. Hooking it up to propane and lighting it all easy. My living area was warming up in way less time that it would have taken me to build a fire in the wood stove.
