How low can you set the temperature? I'm looking for something to keep my cabin from freezing, so if I could set it as low as 45 or 50 degrees would be great.

This pellet stove can be connected to a thermostat. A thermostat is the best way to achieve precise temperature control.
If your cabin is not your primary residence, then consider adding a hopper to increase the length of time the stove can go between reloading.

Is this a ducted pellet stove that can tie into existing ductwork?

I would recommend this item to a friend.
Works great
Not hard to install with the correct Pipe kit. Follow the instructions to the letter, or hire someone who will.
Just went 4 days without shutting down due to weather, used less than a bag of pellets in 24 hours.
I know our other pellet stove would have used more, no doubt about it.
Slightly louder than our other stove but it is a fireplace insert.
All around we would purchase again.
