This stove has a 3" diameter collar for approved type L vent pipe.

Works great
Not hard to install with the correct Pipe kit. Follow the instructions to the letter, or hire someone who will.
Just went 4 days without shutting down due to weather, used less than a bag of pellets in 24 hours.
I know our other pellet stove would have used more, no doubt about it.
Slightly louder than our other stove but it is a fireplace insert.
All around we would purchase again.
