Does this fitting increase the B vent to 4" or does it stay 3"?
Yes, this has a 3" female end (pointed down into the appliance) and a 4" male end to increase the diameter for a 3" B-Vent appliance to use a 4" diameter DuraVent Type B gas vent pipe.
