For an 8-foot ceiling (96 inches) and assuming a standard cooking height of 36 inches, the recommended installation height for the Falmec Plane NRS hood is 60-71 inches from the cooking surface to the bottom of the hood. This would mean a minimum height of approximately 25 inches for the hood itself. Please note that if your cooking surface is lower than 30 inches or your ceiling is higher than 96 inches, you will need to adjust these measurements accordingly.
