Works Well, Looks Good
After looking for a good screen to make sure that our very old (over three hundred years) house was baby-proofed, we finally stumbled upon this model. This screen not only looked great with the overall décor in our home, but also functions better than any of our other fireplace screens. We have actually decided to use this screen on all the other fireplaces in our home, rather than the older screens we have now.

Great for Cats
Cats can be very curious creatures, and, with two of them, we decided that it would be in their best interest to keep them out of the gas fireplace and away from the pilot light. Thankfully this model of screen is not only well balanced and very sturdy, but also heavy enough that I don't think our cats could possibly push it out of the way.
