How is the screen attached to the frame? Does it have a rough, hammered surface?

Per the manufacturer, the mesh screening has a .025 wire spacing and is mig-welded to the perimeter or the frame. The frame also features a rustic, hammered finish and comes in a medium gray color.

Beautiful and sturdy
I love this fireplace screen. You can still see the fire through the screen and the doors make it easy to tend to the fire.
