Overall, I'm pleased with the product. It is expensive, but it is a good solid product. The issue I had, apparently experienced by others as well, is with the hardware. I could not get a bolt to thread into one of the tool holder pieces. The threads in that piece needed to be fixed with a thread chaser. I'm not sure if it was the threads that were defective, or if it was plating or paint that was on the threads. But, the chaser easily fixed it. Of course, you should not need a chaser to assemble any fireplace set, much less an expensive one. But, these days, it is not uncommon to get such issues out of products manufactured in China. My advice is to buy a set of thread chasers if you are going to assemble products in your home. You will need them often.

This was an expense for me, but I don't regret it. The quality couldn't be better. Its a very well built unit and its very strong. I appreciate the finishvery smooth and no sharp ends or nicks that might cut you. It looks great near the fireplace with its universally appealing design. I thought the tool hooks were a little small when I got it, but theyve proved to be the perfect size. I had no trouble putting this together. I really like having a shelf for logs and a separate shelf for kindling. It would be nice if it had an extra hook or small compartment for things like matches, but this storage product is great just the way it is.

This product is very sturdy and strong. I was especially impressed with how well everything fit together as I was assembling it. The bolts are very snug. Unfortunately, I messed up by stripping one of the tool hooks by tightening it too much. But the company was great about replacing the piecegave it to me for free!

Like the sturdy construction of Pilgrim products. I found it hard to believe that the hangers for the tools were made of plastic and were designed to provide some structural rigidity. The threaded hangers were not threaded properly and I am searching for an alternative solution that may be more adequate.

This product fits our needs perfectly, and were very pleased with the companys service.

I'm wishing we hadn't spent quite so much on this. Still, its a good-looking piece and its pretty heavy duty. Overall, assembly was pretty easy, but we found that the screw holes were slightly off. So that made it a little hard to screw it together. We managed though.

The iron styling really complements other iron pieces I have. It does a great job saving spaceespecially wood since its even taller than you'd think. Once you set it up, its not going anywhere either. This things built to hold a lot of weight.
