A fireplace grate elevates the wood from the floor of the hearth to contain the embers and to increase draft for a more efficient burn. This grate is perfect for either factory-built fireplaces or shallow masonry wood-burning fireplaces. It has a design with eight metal cross bars and includes a center lab for extra stability. It is made of heavy-duty Diamond steel and comes in a classic black finish. The dimensions of the grate are front width 27.5", back width 22", depth 14", and clearance 3".
