The AW Perkins 600 Degree RTV Hi-Heat Red Silicone Sealant allows you to seal your stove pipes, gaskets, or other areas of your stove or furnace in a snap. The material can withstand the indicated slightly lower temperature continuously without damage, and the indicated slightly higher temperature for up to an hour. AW Perkins 600 Degree RTV Hi-Heat Red Silicone Sealant blends in with your existing stove or fireplace appliances and provides an easy solution to some of the more common high-heat appliance problems.

How soon after applying can you paint it? Will high temp stove paint adhere to it?
Depending on application and ambient conditions, this RTV could take up to 7 days to fully cure. Once cured, it will accept high temp paint.
