The tee cap is made out of 24 gauge steel and would match perfectly with other Imperial pipes. There is 18 inch clearance to combustibles. Sizes available include 6 inch and 8 inch. The tee cap will deduct 1 1/2 inches from the installed length. The Imperial tee cap features a one year manufacturer's warranty.

Can this be used to cap a chimney pipe in the house where the wood stove was removed?
Theoretically, yes. Simply keep in mind that this cap is designed to cover the bottom of a 6" diameter stove pipe tee that features standard single wall construction. So, if the outside diameter of your open pipe is larger that 6", this cap will not be right for you.
