Product Details
If your old damper is damaged enough so that it no longer makes an effective seal, you should replace it with this model by Imperial. A damper is used to control the draft in the fireplace and to close off the fireplace when the fireplace is not being used. This damper is made from solid cast iron and comes in sizes of 6" and 8". When installed it requires an 18" clearance to combustibles. The part carries a one year manufacturer's warranty.
