Presenting a unique blend of convenience, durability, and style, these angled globe gas valve kits by Dante include a three-inch universal valve key, floor plate, and valve in one simple package. The key and floor plate come in your choice of chrome or glimmering brass finishes (sold separately) while the valve is made from durable solid brass bar stock. A one-year limited warranty is included.
These valves are certified for use with either natural gas or propane by the Canadian Standards Association.

Does the floor plate kit needs to be installed into a floor? Can I connect the floor plate to the valve through a wood box?
No. "Floor plate" is just the name of the part. It is not required to be installed into a floor.

Does this valve have UL or ETL type of certification?
Per the manufacturer, both the globe and ball valves carry a CSA certification, however they are not a UL or Omni listed component.
