As an interior decorator I am very particular about style details. I was looking to update our traditional fireplace tools with clean lined handles. I looked at several other options but often the price was too high or only 3 tools came with the set. This set is very well made and very easy to assemble. Handles are solid metal and the tools are long enough to be efficient while attending to logs. Excellent value. Excellent purchase!

Usually a good sign if you receive your product when or before expected, and this product was definitely delivered on time. All parts were present and assembly was easy. I like the minimalistic look; however, it could stand to be a little more ornate looking. The tongs, etc., are very durable, but the stand is a little quivery (but not unstable or tipsy) when removing or replacing a tool.

This is a great set! It was hard for us to find anything comparable at local stores because its not fireplace season. So were glad we found this option. The price was unbeatable, and theyre easy to put together. They seem very sturdy as well.

Weve had these for about a week so far and theyve done quite well. We purchased them to replace a set that bent and wore out after about a decade of use. The tongs seem very sturdy and they work very well with both big and small pieces of wood. Despite what a couple of other reviews say, the tongs and shovel arent flimsy at all. The broom is somewhat flimsy, but thats of no consequence since we don't really use it. The stand doesnt sit flush either, but its barely noticeable. We do keep the set in our garage so the wind doesnt upset them. Other than that, were very pleased, and we look forward to a decade of use out of these.

These look great and the style is perfect. They also work quite well and havent given us any problems. However, since the handles have to be screwed on, I'm not sure that these will last for a long time. It seems that theyd be sturdier if they were one piece.

Theyre durable and manufactured to be used a lot. Theyre easy to assemble, though the directions arent much help. I was a little disappointed that the handles would loosen with use, but some superglue fixed that. Would have given them an outstanding rating if they were made in America.

The design is straightforward and elegantmuch better than the gaudy, ornate designs of most fireplace tool sets. The little assembly required was easyscrewing handles on the iron rods. However, I was somewhat disappointed that the rods arent really iron. Theyre painted black on stainless steal. The paint is already chipped a bitbarely noticeable really. Still the rods seem durable, so I don't think it will be a functional issue.

I think this purchase was a good value. I really like the fire set and I gave it as a Christmas present. When it arrived it was missing a few parts. I called customer service and they got the parts to me in a fairly reasonable amount of time.
