Does either end of this gas key detach? i need a key that fits through a very small hole in the fireplace grill and into the gas valve.

I'm afraid not. Neither end of this gas key is detachable.

Looks So Nice
This really has helped the aesthetics of my new cabinets. And the size fits really well with the cabinets. It?s doing a great job keeping the fireplace gas regulated.

Specs Exactly As Advertised
These really do fit well! I?m a careful person who checks all the specs before I order a product. Sometimes the descriptions online aren?t too accurate, but these were exactly as described. This company is the one that made my valve, and so they fit together perfectly. I would recommend this product to anyone else who wants a perfect fit like I did.
