This Goods of the Woods grill mat is the one to beat. Made in the USA, safety is a top priority when it comes to this superior product. Designed with high-temperature silicone on the front and back, this mat will protect your surfaces against heat, sparks, embers, and spills. The ribbed bottom prevents moisture build-up and clean up is simple requiring only a damp cloth and quick wipe down. When the mat is not being used, transfer and store it easily thanks to the flexible design.
Please Note: Under no circumstances should Goods of the Woods mats be used under fire pits or chimineas for heat protection on decks as possible damage may occur. This is intended to be a gill mat only.

Can I use this underneath my wood-burning fire ring, which is about 12 inches off the ground? Will it protect the grass underneath the ring from being destroyed?
This item is not designed to be used under firepits, and will not protect the grass under a firepit.
