Customer Q&A with Product Specialists

Patricia T. from CA-ON asked:
Can the Hargrove replacement 28-inch refractory panel work for a Selkirk wood-burning fireplace unit that needs a new back panel? The panel would need to be cut to fit, so is the thickness suitable? Selkirk no longer manufactures units.

Hi Patricia, The Hargrove 28 Inch Replacement Fireplace Refractory Panel - Single Pack measures 28 inches wide, 24 inches high, and is 1 inch thick. This panel is designed for wood-burning fireplaces and can be cut to size with a masonry or diamond saw blade, making it suitable for use as a back panel. Since Selkirk no longer manufactures units, this universal, cut-to-fit option should be suitable for your needs.
