The kit is built with a durable stainless steel design to make sure it stays intact for as many uses as you need to put it through. The kit can be connected together in sections, if the need should arise. Included in a single kit is one stainless steel burner tube, one natural gas orifice, one connector and end cape, and one elbow (valve is not included in kit). Better safe than sorry, right? Are there holes on both sides or only on top?

There are only holes on top of this log lighter, as it is meant to be placed facing up underneath a grate to aid in the burning of firewood.

Replaced Cast Iron with this Stainless Log Lighter
Easy to assemble with a sleek look that actually made the fireplace look a bit cleaner. Of course, when you have a large crack in your existing cast iron log lighter, the stainless replacement will easily improve the aesthetics.
The quality of the pipe and fittings are as advertised. They are well manufactured and of sturdy metal.
