- Hood is made from 18 gauge embossed aluminum
- Braces are made of 1/8 in. x 3/4 in. extruded aluminum
- 16 gauge aluminum expanded metal mesh
- 2 1/4 in. 18 gauge embossed aluminum band
- Stainless steel nuts and bolts
- Weighs approximately 8 lbs.

I'm just a little confused. This says it's a 21" x 21" but then it says it fits up to a 22.5" x 22.5"? So if my chimney brick is 22" x 22" it'll work? Does that mean it's size adjustable?
The band around the base that would attach to the top of your chimney is made to adjust to sizes up to 22 1/2" x 22 1/2".

Chimney cap is over the top (of the house) in quality!
This is the only place I could find a chimney cap big enough (23.5"x23.5") to fit around our chimney. I ordered it easily online, it was delivered very quickly and was easy to assemble. It is now on our chimney and keeping the rain and birds out just in time for cold weather to begin. Thank you very much!
