- Outside brick size 16 in. x 16 in. fits outside brick dimensions from 15 1/2 in x 15 1/2 in to 17 1/2 in. x 17 1/2 in.
- Hood is made from 18 gauge embossed aluminum
- Braces are made of 1/8 in. x 3/4 in. extruded aluminum
- 16 gauge aluminum expanded metal mesh
- 2 1/4 in. 18 gauge embossed aluminum band
- Stainless steel nuts and bolts
- Weighs approximately 6 lbs.

This cap is only intended for use on top of a masonry chimney, though it could be used as a shroud cap above a manufactured chimney if proper clearances can be maintained.

Instructions Are Vague
the chimney cover seems to be light because of its aluminum construction. I am hoping that it will survive the weather and winds well. The instructions more visual with very vague written instructions.

Would have given it five stars, but I don't like the way the wire mesh goes together. Could have been made in one piece and folded or rolled.
