Add the finishing touch to your chimney installation with this protective flue cover. Able to cover multiple flues, this cover will guard against animals, birds, winds, and rain to protect both chimney and flue for years to come. The screen size is 17" by 35", with a hood of 22.25" by 46.5". The galvanized steel hood features scalloped corners and roll formed edges, and the base flanges provide additional support. To simplify cleaning, the hood is fully removable for quick and easy maintenance. Assembly is required, and all necessary components come with the hood, including masonry screws, slotted hex-head steel mounting bolts, and a tube of adhesive. Weighing approximately 16 pounds, this heavy-duty hood comes with a seven-year limited warranty.

It says 35 inches long but I may need an extra half inch or so, is there any give?
This is a surface-mount cap, and the dimensions listed are the screen-to-screen sizes. It is not adjustable.

Great product, quick shipping.
I was looking for a Chimney cover that was better than the flimsy one size fits none options at the big box store that didn't cost a fortune...and this fit the bill. It arrived promptly and well packed in a sturdy box. Assembly, although easy, you need to follow the directions carefully so you don't end up with a mounting flange facing in the wrong direction. Installation was very straightforward but you should consider hiring a professional to install if you are not experienced working on a roof. It is also best as a 2 person job. One to stand on the ladder and the other to hand off tools and the cover.
Pros
Well packed, assembles easily, sturdy, and looks better than most one size fits all options from the big box stores.
Cons
The only negative was that they only supplied 4 concrete screws (Tapcons) and on such a large cover (17" x 35" x 14" high) I felt more comfortable using 8 screws.
