- Cover is 9 in. x 13 in. outside tile size - fits outside tile dimensions from 7 1/2 in. x 11 1/2 in. to 9 1/2 in. x 13 1/2 in.
- 100% galvanized steel
- 24 gauge single piece galvanized steel hood featuring scalloped corners and drip edge
- 18 gauge 5/8 in. expanded galvanized steel mesh fits these cover sizes designed for California homes
- 14 gauge galvanized steel base provides added strength
- Slotted hex-head mounting bolts
- Outside mounting creates more free air space for a better draft
- The expanded metal mesh is turned inward at the base so the cover rests firmly on the tile and closes any openings around the tile
- Weighs approximately 8 lbs.
- Limited lifetime warranty
This unit is designed especially to fit flue tile sizes that are found in California homes. The cover has an outside tile size of 9" x 13" and will fit outside tile dimensions from 7.5" x 11.5" to 9.5" x 13.5". It is made of 100% galvanized steel, and the 24-gauge hood has a drip edge and scalloped corners. The 14-gauge steel base provides stability and the18-gauge 5/8" expanded steel mesh works to exclude animals while allowing good ventilation. An outside mount crate a better draft by allowing more free air space. The mesh turns inward at the base to make good contact with the tile and close any gaps. The cap weighs 8 lbs and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
