- 100% galvanized steel
- 24 gauge single piece galvanized steel hood featuring scalloped corners and drip edge
- 18 gauge 3/4 in. expanded galvanized steel mesh
- 14 gauge galvanized steel base provides added strength
- Slotted hex-head mounting bolts
- Outside mounting creates more free air space for a better draft
- The expanded metal mesh is turned inward at the base so the cover rests firmly on the tile and closes any openings around the tile
- Weighs approximately 9.5 lbs.
- Seven-year limited warranty
This chimney cover mounts on the outside of the chimney to create more free air space and a better draft. The cover has an outside tile size of 13" x 13" and fits outside tile dimensions from 11.5" x 11.5" to 13.5" x 13.5". It is made of 100% galvanized steel with a 24-gauge hood, 13-gauge 3/4" mesh, and a14-gauge base. The hood has a drip edge and scalloped corners. The mounting bolts are slotted with a hex-head for your convenience in installing. The metal mesh turns inward at the bottom to make full contact with the exterior tile and close any gaps. The hood weighs approximately 9.5 lbs. There is a seven year limited warranty.
