This large heavy duty cast iron fireplace grate is part of the Sampson Series. This 32 inch grate is more than functional, it has great decorative value. The design is self feeding. It cast iron construction retains heat. The grate holds the wood at the ideal height for proper ventilation. This G500 Sampson Series 32 inch Cast Iron Fireplace Grate is made by Hy-C Company and will coordinate perfectly with other Hy-C Company fireplace components.

Great fireplace stand
The fireplace grate is great quality and exactly what we wanted. However, it was to have come with 4 legs and ours only had 3. I called and they explained to me I had to go online and fill out a report. I did that and got my fourth leg in the mail today. So it did take a couple of weeks to get it taken care of.

Economical Product
Let me preface this review by stating that this is not the first product of its kind that we have had the privilege of owning. The first grate that owned lasted u close to thirty years before it finally fell apart and required replacement. Even though Sampson grates are much more expensive than others, their long lifespan makes them a much more worthwhile investment that other similar products. In the end, you save a lot of money and have much better experiences in the long run.
